We are an anti bullying club that focuses on the needs of the LGBQT community and anyone who feels bullied or marginalized.  Allies always welcome as members.

► Robotics Club

FIRST Lego League Robotics Club is a program where students learn about robotics and also valuable life skills. Through the group project the students learn valuable: research skills, public speaking skills, and time management skills. The robotics portion of the club allows students to learn about team work, management skills, math skills, problem solving, and communication skills.

► ALAS Club

ALAS is an after-school club designed to create space for students to increase cultural awareness of the Americas, to build community, to develop leadership skills, and increase academic success and motivation. Space is limited. Please see Mr. Velazquez for more information.

AVID's mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.

The FAMM is a club of supportive, encouraging, understanding, enthusiastic, and creative young students who want to work hard together and achieve their goals.

► King Youth Enrichment Program (YEP)

We offer homework support, social and emotional support for students, and a variety of clubs and activities.

This is a free pre-college program, sponsored by Chabot College that serves students from Hayward and San Lorenzo Unified School Districts.  The program aims to provide students with the confidence, skills, and tools needed to succeed in middle school, high school, and college.


Where & Location: T 3:15 - 4:00, Rm 33

Federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. The program provides academic, career, and financial counseling to its participants and encourages them to progress through the academic pipeline.

► Homework Club

Free homework assistance to help students understand assignments and projects in all subjects

  • School supplies and computers available for student usage
  • Free after school meals for registered students
  • Quality support offered by volunteer tutors from the community.
