Welcome to Dr. Martin Luther King Middle School, in Hayward, CA. Our school offers a diverse population and unique curriculum. 

We're committed to engaging electives and project-based learning. We provide a vibrant, learning environment, and excel at innovative education which is supportive, inspiring and life changing.

We offer a unique variety of programs and our classes expose students to a rigorous academic program, which maintains, reinforces, and expands academic skills so all students can become productive, responsible, and compassionate citizens in our ever-changing community. 

We have passionate teachers. Our teachers level of commitment is a critical factor here at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School. Teaching is without doubt one of the hardest and complex professions. It's important that our teachers have an enthusiasm and energy to meet their commitment to the job. We urge each and every one of our teachers to strive to innovate and integrate new ideas into their own practice.
